A Million Recipes


I love recipes.  I read cookbooks like novels.  Like so many others, I've pinned countless recipes on Pinterest, have bookmarked recipes almost daily, and torn page after page out of my favorite cooking magazines.  Yet, what do I make for dinner every night?  Not much new and exciting.  I cook fairly healthy; mostly organic and non GMO....so we do eat well, but I'm ready for new tastes and more creativity in the kitchen.  Anyway, I had the bright idea of actually cooking what I have pinned on Pinterest, bookmarked, or saved to make someday.  

The plan is to try a couple recipes a week.  I'll post what I make, let you know what I think, and share the recipe.  When pinning on Pinterest, I'll sometimes not know where a recipe came from or originated.  It will be my highest intent to give credit where credit is due, but I may not always know.

I'll also share favorite family recipes, ones that are tradition.  Some of my best times, and best eating, is when my family gathers together and we cook.

This morning the temp was 3*....I think it will be a good day to bake.  The recipe I've chosen is, Mocha Shortbread.  It's a page torn from a Martha Stewart Living magazine.  

Let my cooking venture begin......
